Making connections between the RHoK community and other groups of technologist interested in making the world a better place through code is one of the most rewarding parts of participating in RHoK. Today we would like to share with the community an opportunity to bring RHoK to one of the coolest tech-ish events in the world: Campus Party. The event, Campus Party Europe in Berlin will be held the week of August 21-26, 2012. There is an opportunity to speak on a panel with our colleagues from TechSoup Global and other experts in the field of using technology for social good. The panel will be held on Wednesday August 22 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on the Leonardo Stage.
The mission of this Campus Party Europe in Berlin is 'to re-type Europe's source code, and, for that, we need you. Our goal is to bring together 10,000 participants from all over Europe from August 21 to 26, 2012 in the iconic Tempelhof Airport where we will build a sensational infrastructure to welcome the campuseros who will participate in 600 hours of content distributed between conferences, workshops, competitions and activities in 24 content areas at Campus Party Europe in Berlin."
Please contact us if you are interested in representing the RHoK Community on a panel discussing hacking for humanity or if you would like to plan a mini-RHoK event during the week of Campus Party. RHoK community members attending Campus Party Europe in Berlin will receive free registration and camping. Time and space is limited so contact as soon as possible if you intend to RHoK at Campus Party. We also encourage you to spread the word about Campus Party to everyone you know in the RHoK ecosystem.
