Why we are working on this problem:

After trying to solve 2 different problems and finding out that they were already solved in the exact way we intended to solve them, we turned to this problem which looks fun and does not have any solutions yet. We also have a mobile man on our team which helps with the domain of knowledge.

What we accomplished during the event:

In the few hours that we had, raising the idea for a unique solution and presenting it.

Next steps:
  • More detailed game design
  • How to process & present data on the backend

Comments

I have a comment regarding the User Tag: I believe this will be an important part of the app among birders, especially when reporting  sightings of "rare" species. Details among some species of birds are extremely difficult to pick up and correct identification can be a point of debate. Birders will want to know who made the identification in order to know if the sighting was made by a "qualified" birder and can be deemed valid and reliable.

To all those interested: I haven't made any progress with this nor do I intend to. Feel free to take this up and implement it.
