Our fourth global Random Hacks of Kindness event will bring big change. As announced at our last global event in June, RHoK has broadened its scope beyond its origins in Disaster Risk Management (DRM) to include all development sectors. The global water community is coming together for a Water Hackathon in 10 cities this October, and efforts to hack autism with touch technology are already underway.
Technologists are invited to collaborate with peers around the globe to work on technology that can have a real impact. Builders of existing open source software relevant to social development are invited to profile their technologies and build support for further development.
