Bring the Food

This project addresses the problem of facilitating the collection of leftover food from restaurants, events, etc. Food suppliers (e.g. restaurants) can easily publish an offer that is picked up by a food collecting agency, all using a smartphone and with an extremely short interaction with the system. This can minimize the costs of wasted food and at the same time improve and simplify the collection of leftovers to be redistributed at, e.g., homeless shelters. We also plan to include a rewards system to encourage food suppliers to offer their leftovers on a regular basis.
