Summary: 

Program an SMS system to send the Data to the Central Point using the a Data card as a Modem.

Design a MySQL Database to keep record of the data sent, the unique ID, the Date it was received and which number it came from.

Design a User Interface that displays the Data sent by the Data Collectors and the SMS number it was sent from

Why we are working on this problem: 

Because the Gambia Meteoroloyg request for this project because of the difficulty they have in collecting Data from 10 different throught phone calls

What we accomplished during the event: 

Able to collect data sent through sms, write it into a database and display the information from the database

Progress made since the event: 

completed the project task

Next steps: 

connect the application to an operator's sms center using smpp instead of a modem connected to a computer
