Summary:
Move Food is a tool for businesses and volunteers to connect and get leftover/unused food that would otherwise be thrown out to people in need on an ad hoc basis.
It create the connections required for People/Businesses that have food and volunteers that have the means to help to deliver those food products to persons in need (shelters, homes, camps, individuals).
The transaction model of "I Have Resources/I can Help get Those Resources To Those In Need" is universally re-usable for any situation. An upleveled version of Move Food can be used for disaster relief coordination and many other use cases.
We chose to focus on the core transaction for this first release: A user registers, can post an item or claim an item. Everything beyond that is gravy.
