TI Hackathon / youth and corruption

October 7, 2012 - 13:57 -- Peter Szekeres
Summary:

This is a little game to help youth people on the way of the fight against corruption.

:)

There will be a playground, like a vertical field, what shows the players timeline.
Icons will falling from the top, which symbolise different events in life.
The player can gather the falling items by click on it. The items have value.  So every collected item increase the highscore. The goal is the same in life to collect values, but everything has a price. When the time go off, the high score tells the player if he lived a good life or a corrupt. At that point the value of the corrupt items decrease the sum of the highscore. And some advices are given about how to avoide corruption. There will be also a catalog about the different cases of corruption, too.
So, the player can earn knowledge, about the theme.
Finally the player can save its highscore with typing its username.
There will be some other features too, but this is the basic idea.
I like to make it funny as possible and simple too.
Basically i would like to make a catchy, cute app, what is light weight and entertaining, so everyone can like and accept the idea behind it.

Why we are working on this problem:

It is just too bad to live in a world full of corruption.

What we accomplished during the event:

A proof of concept script was created to give a brief about the idea.
